Update: Proposed data fields Total Paid Amount Calculation requires 9 data elements. Members expressed concern about interpretation of elements not all data suppliers can report. The TAG considered 3 proposals: Add no data elements strong consensus Add Flat Sales Tax Amount and Other Payer Amount weak consensus Add all data elements where at least 1 carrier can report no consensus Based on discussion, OHA and DCBS concluded Total Paid Amount should not be added in January 2016. Update: Proposed data fields Group Name Members expressed concern about how Group Name would be used if reported. Members asked for examples of how Group Name could be used for data analysis. Discussion will be tabled while OHA considers examples and determines how to prioritize this field. Given the need for more information and discussion, the field will not be added for January 2016. Update: Proposed data fields Monthly Premium Definition: Amount subscriber is responsible for on a monthly basis to maintain this line of eligibility. DCBS needs Monthly Premium to run the Medical Loss Ratio Report for rate review. 5 of 8 data suppliers that responded to the data fields poll said they would be able to report this field by January 2016. Today, OHA seeks additional feedback on data suppliers ability to report Monthly Premium. APAC Technical Advisory Group 7 of 7 March 12, 2015
