  1. Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium FY25 Budget & Preliminary FY26-27 Budget Update

FY25 and FY26-27 Budget Process Update All HRIs have submitted their first drafts of the FY25 Rebudgeting exercise, which also takes FY24 projected expenditures into account, as well as their Preliminary FY26-27 Budget requests Throughout May and June, TCMHCC met with the 12 HRIs to review and discuss their budget submissions - including any programmatic projections, concerns, and needs During these discussions innovations and efficiencies were identified and revised budgets have been requested - they are pending submission HRIs and TCMHCC are having follow up meetings and revised budget submissions have started coming in 2

FY25 and FY26-27 Budget Process Upcoming During June and July TCMHCC will continue to work with HRIs to further refine budgets Research Budgets have yet to be developed TCMHCC will be working with the research teams to further assess current programming as well as future projections. Following these discussions: Research Budgets for FY25 and FY26-27 can be developed and as discussed during the May 2024 EC meeting additional research funding of up to $2.5M can then be brought forward to transfer into the New and Emerging Children s Mental Health Researchers initiative 3

  4. FY25 and FY26-27 Budget Process Upcoming cont. TCMHCC continues to work with the UT Austin Sponsored Programs Office regarding the end of ARPA funding in May of 2025 and the use of interest generated on ARPA funds to continue services through the end of FY25 As we look toward FY26-27, we anticipate requesting continuing GR funds for many of the currently funded ARPA projects, keeping in mind that some projects may need additional legislative authority for their continuance through TCMHCC After all items have been addressed a more comprehensive budget presentation will be made at the July EC meeting 4
