APPROACH TO STUDY CENTRALITY OF THE WORD IN LIVING I. CENTRALITY OF THE WORD IN PRAYER II. III. CENTRALITY OF THE WORD IN SERVING
BIG QUESTION DOES THE BIBLE CONTAIN THE WORD OF GOD? OR IS IT THE WORD OF GOD?
MCAJ DOCTRINE THE BIBLE ARTICLE OF FAITH We believe that the Bible, consisting of the entire sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, is the Word of God given by divine inspiration, is inerrant in the original manuscripts, and remains the unchanging authority in matters of Christian faith and practice.
FURTHER REVELATION The Bible is God s revelation to us. It was written by people who were guided in their communication by the Holy Spirit. They were directed by God in collecting and selecting the material they wrote and in the very words they used. The final product was actually God s Word, not that of any person. The Bible as recorded by the writers was, therefore, without error.
2 Peter 1:19-21 19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 New Living Translation (NLT) 16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 17 God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.

THE WORD IN SALVATION CAN ONE BECOME A BELIEVER WITHOUT THE WORD OF GOD?
ROMANS 10:17 (KJV) So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
