The Elephant Life cycle There are three main cycles of the elephant Baby, Adolescent, and adult Baby Adolescent Adult
Baby/Calf A baby elephant called a calf is the 1st stage of the elephant life cycle and can weigh 250 pounds at birth. Baby cannot see very well at birth but can recognize there mothers touch, scent, and sound.
Adolescent Adolescents are the 2nd life cycle stage of the elephant. At this stage is when the elephant leaves the main heard.
Adult is the 3rd stage of the elephant life cycle. This stage is reached after about 18 years after birth. Adult
