Traditional animation involves hand-drawn frame-by-frame techniques requiring patience and skill, while paint animation offers a unique flow with a paint-like effect. Sand animations provide a creative experience with forms appearing in front of the viewer. Stop-motion animation involves capturing successive images to create movement, whereas puppet animation uses premade puppets in meticulous stop-motion processes. Computer-generated animation offers more control but requires keen attention to detail. Flash animation software allows for both rigging and hand-drawn frame creations for 2D models.

  1. The Different Animations By Just n Firestine

  2. Traditional Animation Hand Drawn frame by frame animation Requires a lot of patience Takes a long time to master but mistakes can be fixed by redrawing frames or removing them The artist is in full control of how the animation goes.

  3. Paint Animation Like traditional but done with paint Can allow for a certain feel where the paint is moved around frame by frame. Sort of gives the feel of flowing water

  4. Sand Animations Sand animation has a feel of creativeness where things are formed in front of the user. Can be prerecorded or even performed in front of the viewer

  5. Stop motion animation Stop motion animation is when the camera repeatedly takes pictures so that it can put them together in a way where the object moves. Very long and tedious.

  6. Puppet Animation Is a animation where they use a premade puppet in stop motion to simulate something moving Vary hard to accomplish and takes a lot of time Has a particular look to it

  7. Computer Generated. Is not frame by frame but instead move by move. By keying certain moves people can make something move in a designated amount of time. Can be easier or harder depending on the outlook and complexity of the model. The artist has the least amount of control in this animation field

  8. Flash animation/ Animation software Allows for the parts of an figure to be rigged so that the software will help the animation. This gives the model a puppet animation look in 2D graphics Looks a little clunky. Another use of animation software is to just hand draw each frame like traditional hand drawn animation.
