The Geological time scales
This project involves implementing genetic programming trees for Pac-Man controllers, exploring methods like random search, full genetic programming, recombination, mutation, and competitive co-evolution. The goal is to evolve controllers for Pac-Man and Ghosts in a simplified Pac-Man game scenario where units have specific movements and the game ends under certain conditions. The scoring function is represented as a tree using various sensor input nodes and operator nodes, with the aim of selecting the best action based on the final score of the game.

The Geological time scales A history of earth
How old is the Earth? 4.6 Billion years 4,600,000,000 Divided into eras: - Cenozoic - Mesozoic - Palaeozoic - Precambrian
How long was the Paleozoic Era?
How long was the Paleozoic Era? 299 million years
Major events in the Paleozoic Era
Events in the Devonian and Silurian periods
Scale Timeline: Paper Timeline Today, you will create a scale timeline of Earth s history on a long sheet of adding machine paper Scale: 1 inch = 100,000,000 years 4.6 billion years = 46 inches
Scale Timeline: Paper Timeline You may use: Meter sticks (even though we re using inches) Decimal inch rulers Your textbooks Copies from other textbooks The internet
