  2. About the Gospel The Gospel of Matthew is the first book in the New Testament. The Gospel of Matthew is 28 chapters long. It has the most chapters out of all the gospels The Gospel was written around A.D 85 Mathews gospel was written Greek Mathew was familiar with Mark s gospel
