  2. Lego video games Ole kirk Christiansen Ole kirk made the Lego group. He was a Danish carpenter. Before Lego, the only kind of toys was wooden toys. Lego was created on the 10th of august 1932, Billund, Denmark. Lego got its name from the Danish phrase leg godt, which means play well. At first it wasn't very popular because people still preferred wooden toys. Lego became so popular kids loved it, and parents thought it was educational too. In 1985 Lego became more versatile when they made the stud-and-tube system. In 1997 the first ever Lego video game came out, it was Lego island by mindscape.
