THE PURPLE PEOPLE EATER (1) 1. Well, I saw the thing a-comin out of the sky, It had one long horn and one big eye. I commenced to shakin and I said, Ooh- wee, It looks like a Purple People Eater to me! 2. Well, he came down to Earth And he lived in a tree, I said, Mr Purple People Eater, Don t eat me! I heard him say in a voice so gruff, I wouldn t eat you coz you re so tough! It was a one-eyed, one-horned, Flying Purple People Eater, One-eyed, one-horned, Flying Purple People, One-eyed, one-horned, Flying Purple People, Sure looked strange to me! It was a one-eyed
THE PURPLE PEOPLE EATER (2) 4. Well, he went on his way And then what-a you know, I saw him last nigh On a TV show. He was blowin it out, Really knockin em dead, Rock n Roll music Going round in his head! 3. I said, Mr Purple People Eater, What s your line? He said, Eatin Purple People, And it sure is fine, But that s not the reason That I came to land, I wanna get a job In a rock n roll band! It was a one-eyed It was a one-eyed
THE MIDNIGHT WITCHES 1. Hark! Hark! Can you hear The Midnight Witches now are here? Hark! Hark! Can you hear The Midnight Witches now are here? 3. Ouch! Ouch! Can you feel The Midnight Witches, cold as steel? Ouch! Ouch! Can you feel The Midnight Witches, cold as steel? 2. Look! Look! Can you see The Midnight Witches 1, 2, 3? Look! Look! Can you see The Midnight Witches 1, 2, 3? 4. Up! Up! Up they fly Watch them soar into the sky, See them go, so big and black, The Midnight witches won t come back.
POOR TOM Have you seen the ghost of Tom? Long white bones with the skin all go-o-o-o-ne, Oo - - oo - - oo - - oo - oo - - oo - - oo - - Tom! Wouldn t it be chilly with no skin on!
GEPETTO MADE A PUPPET 2. With a tap, tap here and a tap, tap there, From fingers down to toes, But then the naughty puppet punched His master on the nose! Gepetto made a puppet, He carved it out of wood, He wanted most of all to have a son, And everyone could hear him As he hammered and he sawed, He worked away from dawn Till day was done. 3. With a tap, tap here and a tap, tap there, Came elbow, knee and chin. But then the naughty puppet kicked Gepetto on the shin. 1. With a tap, tap here and a tap, tap there, The puppet was begun, But when at last the head was made The boy stuck out his tongue! 4. With a tap, tap here and a tap, tap there, When came the legs and feet, Pinocchio jumped up and ran off Quickly down the street!
I KNOW AN OLD LADY (1) 1. I know an old lady who swallowed a fly, I don t know why she swallowed a fly, 4. I know an old lady who swallowed a cat, Just fancy that, she swallowed a cat! She swallowed the cat to catch the bird, She swallowed the bird to catch the spider That wriggled... Perhaps she ll die. 2. I know an old lady who swallowed a spider That wriggled and jiggled and tickled inside her. She swallowed the spider to catch the fly, I don t know why she swallowed a fly, 5. I know an old lady who swallowed a dog, What a hog, to swallow a dog! She swallowed the dog to catch the cat, She swallowed the cat to catch the bird, She swallowed the bird to catch the spider Perhaps she ll die. 3. I know an old lady who swallowed a bird, How absurd, to swallow a bird! She swallowed the bird to catch the spider That wriggled and jiggled and tickled inside her That wriggled
I KNOW AN OLD LADY (2) 6. I know an old lady who swallowed a goat, She just opened her throat and swallowed a goat! She swallowed the goat to catch the dog, She swallowed the dog to catch the cat, She swallowed the cat to catch the bird, She swallowed the bird to catch the spider That wriggled and jiggled and tickled inside her. She swallowed the spider to catch the fly, I don t know why she swallowed a fly, 7. I know an old lady who swallowed a cow. I don t know how she swallowed a cow! She swallowed the cow to catch the goat, She swallowed the goat to catch the dog, She swallowed the dog to catch the cat, She swallowed the cat to catch the bird, She swallowed the bird to catch the spider That wriggled Perhaps she ll die. 8. I know an old lady who swallowed a horse, SHE S DEAD OF COURSE!
MRS WHITE HAD A FRIGHT Mrs White had a fright In the middle of the night, She saw a ghost, Eating toast, Halfway up a lamp post. OSTINATOS 1. Dum, dum, dum, dum 2. Dum dee dum dum dooo do do do do 3. In the middle of the night 4. Saw a ghost that was climbing up a lamp post
