  5. Important: When John wrote Revelation he did not tell us what order the events would transpire

  6. Important: What John did was to describe the events in the order it was revealed to him by Jesus

  7. Important: Revelation, as a whole, is therefore not a linear approach to the end of time

  10. Revelation 6: 1-8 introduces us to the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse

  11. Revelation 6: 1-2 Rider on white horse who has a bow, a crown and goes out to conquer

  12. Two theories: 1. Jesus 2. Antichrist; the great imitator who resembles Jesus

  13. Revelation 6: 3-4 Rider on fiery red horse, with a great sword; takes peace from the world, turns humanity against itself

  16. Revelation 6: 7-8 War, famine, brings physical death; Hades comes to claim the souls of the unbelievers; fourth of earth s population dies

  17. These verses of the Four Horsemen are theologically challenging and deals with a phenomenon hard for us to grasp!

  18. I believe these four seal-judgments are references to forces already at work among us but will occur at an unprecedented rate and time

  19. I believe this is why it is very important for believers today to seriously live a life that HOLDS FAST to Jesus and His Word!

  20. Revelation 6: 9 - 11 Fifth seal reflects the souls of those who were martyrs who were slain because of their witness

  21. Revelation 6: 9 - 11 These martyrs cry out, How much longer, O Lord they should be patient a little longer until other servants would be killed

  23. Revelation 7: 1- 7 Wait, do no harm, until we have sealed the servants of God 144,000 of children of Israel

  24. Revelation 7: 4 To be sealed indicates ownership and protection; today believers are sealed by the Holy Spirit

  25. Revelation 7: 9 - 17 The great multiple of Martyrs who are faithful to Jesus during the Great Tribulation

  26. We just finished in a whirlwind discussing a glimpse of the beginning of God s Wrath of Judgement referred to as the Great Tribulation
