  6. Background Create & maintain an Islamic banks & financial institutions Internet - based Information System (known as IBIS). Establish financial databases of Islamic Banks, Islamic Companies (including Islamic Mutual Funds), Takaful Companies and others in IBIS. IBIS IBIS

Also, It hosts several other Modules. It hosts nine different Modules that each one serves a unique purpose for the promotion and the development of Islamic Financial Industry. IBIS Components Module 1 (Islamic Banks profile & Financial Data ) is primarily a financial database of Islamic banks Module 2 (Directory of other Islamic Financial Institutions ) Provide necessary description & information of other Islamic financial institutions contain contact & Biographical information on key scholars & practitioners in Islamic finance and economy. Module 3 (Who s who Database ) IBIS IBIS

IBIS Components is mainly a Fatwa database that contain Shari a matters & the rulings of Shari a Boards relevant to Islamic banking & finance Module 4 (Islamic Banks Fatawa Database ) Module 5 (Glossary of Islamic Economic terms ) is a glossary of Islamic economic terms with sufficient description of each term Module 6 (Publication Bibliography Database ) is a publication database that contains a bibliography of Islamic economic publications IBIS IBIS

  11. IBIS Components Module 7 (News Database) is a news database which gives information on special reports & important news on Islamic finance & economy. Module 8 (Events Database ) is an events database that provides information on necessary events such as seminars & conferences. is discussion forum which is dedicated to promote the sharing & exchange of ideas and knowledge among the users of the system.   12. Islamic Banks Profile & Financial Data Maintain detailed financial database on Islamic banks. It provides reliable & verifiable data and reports about the banks. Store a single data collection & analysis form (known as a Questionnaire) for Islamic banks. Capture , processes & stores analyzed data. IBIS IBIS

Islamic Banks Profile & Financial Data Generate Financial reports which include Concentration of economic Sectors , Growth Rate by bank/year, Islamic Modes of Finance, Industry Financial highlights and etc. Generate a variety of bank or group of banks time series reports from the financial database of the bank(s). Provide information about rating agencies & rating reports of the banks. Contain information about foreign exchange rates and it has exchange rate conversion capability. Financial Indicators Financial Ratios(Prudential Indicators) are not included in the Questionnaire but are computed from the data in the Questionnaire for the relevant use of them by the analyst(s).
