  3. Social Impact is defined as any positive or negative change in people s life caused by observable agent (Wallstam et. al, 2018)

  4. How is it important to evaluate the social factors of an event ?

  5. The meaning of Evaluation

  6. Event evaluation can be defined as the holistic assessment of an event through the utilization of a broad range of measures and approaches to determine its value and impacts in an agreed or prescribed context. (Trochim, 2006)

  7. Events are designed and produced only to have a positive social impact on the communities in which they are held -(O'Mahony, 2022)-

  8. Social Factors Influence Various influence of social factors Impact on altering people s attitudes and behaviour towards activities participation and cultural engagement. Participation Volunteering & Skills Identity & Image Satisfaction (eventIMPACTS, 2022)

  9. Major events have the potential to have positive effects on the people and communities that interact with them. Conclusion The power to mobilise large numbers of people and create meaningful impacts on their lives in a number of different ways.
