ACHIEVEMENTS John Cabot or Giovanni Cabot, was an Italian born navigator who explored the coast of Newfound land for the English in 1497.
WHEN WAS JOHN CABOT BORN AND WHEN DID HE DIE? John Cabot was born sometime around 1450 in Genoa Italy, to Giulio Cabot a spice merchant. The name Cabot is translated as coastal trader.
