Final Stop on the Journey-NCLEX 75 to 265 Test Items; Total 6 hours for test Suggested Time per Test Item (1 to 2 Minutes) Testing stops when the candidate s ability is determined to be either above or below the passing standard with 95 percent certainty. It is important to understand that the length of the candidate s examination is not an indication of a pass or fail result. Test administrator provides candidates with an erasable note board that may be replaced as needed during testing.
