Introduction of Atlantis Over 11,000 years ago there was an island in the middle of the Atlantic ocean called the city of Atlantis where people lived. There was a temple where the rulers would got to talk about important things happening in the the city. In the blink of an eye the city of Atlantis was swallowed by the sea. It was lost!!
Supporting Theories About Atlantis Ignatius Donnelly believed his theory was correct by saying that the sunken city will soon be found and that museums would soon be filled with things from Atlantis around the world. Plato shared his theory of Atlantis being real by writing books and telling the story.
Evidence of Atlantis Atlantis started in 335 B.C. with the Greek philosopher Plato. He wrote books about the city of Atlantis to make people believe that it was true. Richard Freund said that they have found evidence that the city may be buried not under the ocean but along the coast of Spain. His team said that using technology they could still see signs of a city. But other people thought that Atlantis isnt Spain but in Greece. Atlantis experts have located the lost island around the world because of the facts of origin.
Opposing Theories of Atlantis Is Atlantis a real or a tale?? The origins, details and context of Atlantis is a myth. The Atlantis myth is more about Athens than a sunken city.
Conclusion Atlantis is a cool unsolved mystery but we don t think its real because all the Atlantis experts had different origins for where there island was located. It is hard to believe that experts missed this big city of Atlantis under the ocean. Experts believe that Atlantis is impossible to be real because there is no way it could have gone under water.
