TB Care and Prevention Assessment of national referral systems Develop cross border referral systems Develop regional health information database Develop technology to support adherence Strengthening continuity of care and treatment Legislative review of 10 countries mine health and safety Opportunities to harmonise policy Disseminate recommendations via SADC technical and political structures Prevention of TB in the mines
Health Information and M&E Geospatial mapping studies in those countries that require Epidemiological baseline studies regional These feed into the location and size of facilities and programmes in module 1 Conduct surveys Assess M&E systems in 10 countries wrt key populations Develop a regional M&E framework Support integration of M&E framework into national systems Co-ordinate with NTP regionally Monitoring of TB services
Community Systems Strengthening Review human rights and gender barriers to access for services Build organisational capacity to address barriers Focus at CSO level technical, HR, operations, planning capacities Improve access to TB, silicosis and HIV services
Policy and Governance Technical co-ordination with NTP managers Ministerial co-ordination on policy and programme harmonisation Policy advocacy agenda for the region Support compensation fund co-ordination Strengthening high level co- ordination and partnerships
