  3. INTRODUCTION McAllen ISD will be moving from Time Clock Plus to Time Tracking What does this mean? New timeclocks have already been installed at all campuses and most department sites The iPad s will no longer be used and will be removed by the Technology Department after the transition is complete All employees that used Time Clock Plus will now use Time Tracking 4

  4. IMPLEMENTATION DATE February 26, 2022 All employees will begin to use the new time tracking system on this date 30 5 25 10 20 15 5

IMPORTANT CHANGES The 7-minute rounding rule will only be applied at the end of the work week and will round to the nearest quarter hour It will no longer apply to every clock in/out Example 1: If you clock in at 8:07 am it will not round to 8:00 am Example 2: At the end of the work week you have 39:53 hours, that will round up to 40:00 hours Employee will be responsible for submitting their timesheet at the end of the work week (Friday) This can be done through the timeclock or computer Do NOT submit your timesheet everyday Only submit one time at the end of the workweek 6

REMINDERS Time Tracking in Skyward will be the official timekeeping software for all non-exempt employees All employees must: Clock in at the start of the shift Clock in/out during lunch Clock out at the end of the shift Unauthorized overtime is prohibited Part time employees must not exceed 19 hours per week 11

DOS AND DON'TS Make sure to always clock in and out Make sure to not exceed your scheduled hours per week Always submit your timesheet at the end of the work week Try to make it a priority to be on time at work every day Immediately inform your time tracking manager of any issues with the timeclock Do not share your employee ID number or badge with anyone Do not clock in/out for another employee Do not attempt to tamper with the timekeeping hardware or software Never take work home/work after hours Any time spent working while not clocked in is strictly prohibited Examples include: checking/reading/reviewing work- related emails after hours/on weekends 12

  12. TIME CLOCK MANAGER PROCEDURES Time Clock Managers are appointed by the Time Clock Supervisors as those responsible for monitoring and editing the time clock records for a worksite.
