Tornadoes: A Powerful Force of Nature
Tornadoes are severe windstorms with twisting funnels extending from dark clouds. They form when warm and cold air masses collide, creating violent spinning winds. These natural disasters can occur worldwide, with Tornado Alley in the central United States being a hotspot. The deadliest tornado on record was the Tri-State Tornado of 1925, which caused immense devastation. Tornadoes can wreak havoc on transportation and impact how people interact with their environment, prompting safety measures like seeking shelter during warnings. Stay safe by following guidelines such as taking cover in basements or underground shelters. Remember to prioritize safety during tornado events.

How does it relate to the 5 themes?
Where do they happen? (Place/Region) Tornadoes happen all over the world. Hundreds of tornadoes form each year in the central United States. This area is known as Tornado Alley. Tornado Alley consist of the following States; Ne, Il, In, Ky, Ks, Ok, Tx Ms, Ar, Ga, Co, Oh, Nm and Mexico.
