  2. The disciples gladly received Jesus into their boat, immediately arriving at Gennesaret. Then they were glad to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land to which they were going. Jn 6:21

  3. 1 2

  4. Jesus is Found! And when they had crossed over, they came to land at Gennesaret. 35And when the men of that place recognized him, they sent around to all that region and brought to him all who were sick 36and implored him that they might only touch the fringe of his garment. And as many as touched it were made well. Mt 14:34-36

  5. Recognizing Jesus, the men advertised to all the region that healing would happen here, by the man with authority over disease!

  6. The Woman with the 12 year blood hemorrhage was healed like this. Mk 5:24-34 And there was a woman who had had a discharge of blood for twelve years 27 She had heard the reports about Jesus and came up behind him in the crowd and touched his garment 29And immediately the flow of blood dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of her disease. Mk 5:25, 27, 29

  7. She touched the fringe (hem) of Jesus garment 20And behold, a woman who had suffered from a discharge of blood for twelve years came up behind him and touched the fringe of his garment, 21for she said to herself, If I only touch his garment, I will be made well. Mt 9:20-21

  8. Garment Fringe or Tassels Speak to the people of Israel, and tell them to make tassels on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and to put a cord of blue on the tassel of each corner. 39And it shall be a tassel for you to look at and rememberall the commandments of the LORD, to do them, not to follow after your own heart and your own eyes, which you are inclined to whore after. 40So you shall remember and do all my commandments, and be holy to your God. Num 15:38-40

  9. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. 17 Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them... 19Therefore whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Mt 5:16-17, 19-20abv

  10. When Saul returned from following the Philistines, he was told, Behold, David is in the wilderness of Engedi. 2Then Saul took three thousand chosen men out of all Israel and went to seek David and his men in front of the Wildgoats Rocks. 3And he came to the sheepfolds by the way, where there was a cave, and Saul went in to relieve himself. Now David and his men were sitting in the innermost parts of the cave. 1 Sam 24:1-3

  11. And the men of David said to him, Here is the day of which the LORD said to you, Behold, I will give your enemy into your hand, and you shall do to him as it shall seem good to you. Then David arose and stealthily cut off a corner of Saul s robe. 5And afterward David s heart struck him, because he had cut off a corner of Saul s robe. 1 Sam 24:4-5

  12. The hem of Sauls robe was the place of honor and authority. 6He said to his men, The LORD forbid that I should do this thing to my lord, the LORD s anointed, to put out my hand against him, seeing he is the LORD s anointed. 10Behold, this day your eyes have seen how the LORD gave you today into my hand in the cave. And some told me to kill you, but I spared you. I said, I will not put out my hand against my lord, for he is the LORD s anointed. 1 Sam 24:6, 10

  13. Amazingly, in Gennesaret, the dialogue of healing takes on a new dynamic! they brought to him all who were sick 36and implored him that they might only touch the fringe of his garment. And as many as touched it were made well. Mt 14:36

  14. Paraclete Jn 14:16, 14:26, 15:16 20But he said to them, It is I; do not be afraid. 21Then they were glad to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land to which they were going. John 6:20 21

  15. Jesuss Claims Jesus said to them, I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. 44No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me only me, the One who came from God has seen The Father, I have seen The Father!47Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life. 48I am the bread of life! Jn 6:35, 44- 48 abv

  16. Will you REACH OUT to Jesus hem (tassel)? And behold, a woman who had suffered from a discharge of blood for twelve years came up behind him and touched the fringe of his garment, 21for she said to herself, If I only touch his garment, I will be made well. 22Jesus turned, and seeing her he said, Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well. And instantly the woman was made well. Mt 9:20-22
