Aim to: -Support clinicians in management of patients in community -Reduce referral rate -Improve quality of referrals -Reduce time needed to document during consultations -Educational tool -Standardise the care we provide
Outcomes and Successes - Collaboration- break down barriers between primary and secondary care - Secured funding until 2017 - a new platform where we can develop and grow - 24 hour turn around for A&R - Waiting times at the WHH: 12 wk GP 7 wk consultant 16 wk Women s health physio - General gynae march Pelvic floor April Menstrual clinic April Pelvic pain April Recurrent Miscarriage March Waiting time gynae OP: Tower Hamlets Jan-Nov 2023 (before pilot): 15% A&G, 85% Hospital ASI Dec 2023- now (SPOA pilot): 38% A&G, 33% WHH (36% Physio), 2% other (SH/CWHS), 27% Hospital ASI Gynae clinic appointments in hospital 32% of pre-pilot level Demonstrated support: DHSC Women s Health Strategy guidance, Visits from Health Minister, Women s Health Ambassador for England, ICB CEO/CFO/CN
