Traffic Impact Analysis (TIA) A study to determine the impact of the additional traffic generated by a proposed development on the transportation system Requires developments to mitigate the traffic impacts by providing improvements
Current Ordinance Required with Rezoning or Site Plan Applications Required on sites with more than 150 trips per hour Exemptions: - Single Family Residential - Northgate Area (NG-1, NG-2 or NG-3)
Other Cities Residential TIA requirements - Georgetown 2,000 vpd - San Marcos - Round Rock - Sugarland 2,000 vpd 100 vph 100 vph TIA requirements (excludes Residential) - Plano 8,000 vpd - Denton 100 vph
