What the Bible can do for us
It reveals who God is Romans 1:16-17 it reveals the righteousness of God We need to know who God is, what He expects, etc. The only way is for Him to reveal Himself 1 Corinthians 2:9-13, We learn of God through Jesus - John 14:8-10 What the Bible can do for us
It introduces you to Jesus Romans 1:1-4 the gospel reveals the humanity and deity of Jesus Acts 4:12 He is our ONLY source of salvation Philippians 3:8-10 Paul sought to know Him What the Bible can do for us
It introduces you to Jesus In the gospels we learn who He is, what He has done for us and what the future holds in store John 5:39 the scriptures testified of Him (prophecy) Hebrews 1:1-2, Acts 1:3 John 20:30-31 these things written that you may believe What the Bible can do for us

It can build you up spiritually Acts 20:32 speaking to the Ephesian elders, Paul commended them to the word of His grace His word builds us up in many different ways giving your life direction, draws you closer to Him, helps with problems, adjusts attitudes, and teaches you endurance Acts 21:10-13 consider Paul note Paul s focus! It can expose error 1 John 4:1 We are called upon to test the spirits . How? But examining them through the light of truth (John 8:32) What the Bible can do for us
It can expose error We live in confusing times with much religious division. Can we know the truth? YES! By studying God s word with an honest heart Psalm 119:104, 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12, 2 John 9-11 What the Bible can do for us
