  2. Our Approach We combine three elements: 1. A coordinated, collaborative research agenda between academics and clinicians from all Faculties; 2. Use of design thinking to generate human-centred solutions; 3. Ongoing interaction with a diverse group of stakeholders.

  5. First Focused Centre Labarge Centre for Mobility in Aging $15M gift from Chancellor Suzanne Labarge Three priority areas: 1. Understand, define, and explore mobility in aging. 2. Maintain and restore mobility: prevention, intervention and interaction with health systems. 3. Explore environmental facilitators and barriers influencing mobility.

There are several ways for researchers to become involved with MIRA: Become a member of MIRA Join one or more of the thematic working groups These groups will be involved in developing collaborative research projects to be funded by the Centre Identify potential funding opportunities, including those requiring matching funds Participate in communication initiatives, such as through social media.
