  5. You could jump into a time machine,

  6. But, I doubt you have one of those

  7. So now I plan to solve your problem!

  8. Introducing

  11. Ancient Inca transporter! (of my very own invention!)

  12. This high definition transporter will blast you all in a flash to the ancient Inca faster then you can say Llama, llama!

  18. Welcome to Ancient Inca!!

  19. Look around, what do you see? Mountains! People! Llamas! You will find all of that here in Ancient Inca!

  20. Geography

  21. Ancient Inca is located in the western parts of South America. The empire takes up almost all of western South America.

  22. Some of the landforms are mountains,

  23. Slopes look like this

  24. And if you are lucky enough to stumble upon a valley during our trip, it will look something like this

  25. Cool, right?

  26. Family and Kin

  27. Girls would learn to weave and cook on weekends by there moms teaching them and on weekdays, would go to school to learn how to read and write Quechua (KECH-wah)

  28. Boy would also go to school on weekdays with all of the girls, to read and write Quechua, and on weekends, the would follow there fathers while they worked to teach themselves the responsibilities of being an Incan man

  29. Women would run the household by weaving, cooking, and cleaning. They would also have the reasonability of caring for ALL of the children when not at school.

  30. And most importantly, the men were the well-beings of the household.

  31. Political Organization

  32. The ruler, Cuzco, had a VERY fierce army. There goal was to conquer as much land as possible. They would conquer new lands by persuading the people of other lands with corn, a place to stay, and good education for there young. Cuzco, the empire

  33. If they say, no, this is where the army comes in, they attack the main land and decapitate the people that would not join there land and that is how they conquered new lands. Incan army

  34. Communication

  35. Ancient Incan not only used there very own language, Quechua (KECH-wah) but had there own of taking messages a far distance, the used Quipus (KEE-puhz) these knotted roped have different colors, knot types, and lengths, depending on what it is standing for.

  36. To deliver these quips (KEE-puz), they had messengers. Messengers were people who traveled a long distance to deliver messages for little pay. They often played joyful tunes on a flute while traveling.

  37. Economics

  38. Women often weaved to trade for other silks to sew into new clothing for their families.

  39. Also, famers would trade their crops for other goods, such as silks for weaving and other crops that they might be low on stock or not able to grow, due to soils.

  40. Technology

  41. Ancient Incan's technology wasnt anything like what we have today.

  42. They didnt even have IPhones!

  43. Instead, they used llamas

  44. Yeah, llamas. Llamas were used to pull carts. They were also used for transporting an item or items to a far away place.
