  5. What is the right module load? One term students: between 25 and 30 ECTs. Take about 80% - 100% of a Trinity student s module load (but meet the requirements of your home university). You can only enrol on modules amounting to a maximum of 30 ECTS per Semester. Academic Registry will not allow you to take modules that clash on the timetable. ECTS credits at Trinity 1st year (Junior Fresh, JF) 5 credits 2ndyear (Senior Fresh, SF) 5 credits 3rdyear (Junior Sophister, JS) 5 credits 4thyear (Senior Sophister, SS) 5/10 credits The Department of Political Science does not accept Visiting and Erasmus students in 1stand 4thyear modules. The Department of Sociology does not accept Visiting and Erasmus students in 1stand 2ndyear modules and not all 4thyear modules are available. Trinity College Dublin, The University of Dublin

Choosing and registering for modules List of available modules on: Trinity Business School & School of Social Science and Philosophy websites under study abroad: https://www.tcd.ie/ssp/undergraduate/study- abroad/incoming/module-outlines.php Some modules have quotas: see website. To enrol in some modules you may need to satisfy the prerequisites as listed, i.e. you should have studied a similar module in your home institution: please provide the necessary proof to your coordinator.
