  3. MiSiS Access Scenarios 1. User cannot log into system 2. New Principal or teacher needs access 3. Employee is new to the District or new to the school 4. User does not know what user role is needed to do functions in MiSiS 5. User applied for MiSiS Access and need to know the status

Recommendations B Virtual needs to enter detailed information on tickets escalated to MiSiS Tier2 This will help to better understand the customer issue System Issue Ask questions and run through the following checklist: Is the user a new employee or new to the school? If yes, direct the user to EZ Access Check system status traffic lights on MiSiS website Ask user which browser is being used (Preferred browser: Firefox) Clear cache Check user role in EZ Access Can user log into other systems? Can user log in from another computer? Can someone else log in from affected computer? SSO/Password issues Be mindful that SSO is used for many LAUSD applications. If you have a caller stating that they can t log into MiSiS make sure before you check EZ Access that they are able to log into other LAUSD Apps or email. If the user stats that its only MiSiS make sure they already applied for access?
