Objectives Objectives Gather baseline information on the knowledge, attitudes and practices of TB patients and the contacts in Indonesia to identify barriers to seeking care; Identify knowledge gaps, cultural beliefs, or behavioral patterns that may facilitate understanding and action, as well as pose problems or create barriers for TB control efforts; Identify factors influencing behavior that are not known to most people, reasons for their attitudes, and how and why people practice certain health behaviors; Explore knowledge, attitudes and practices of healthcare and community workers on contact investigation Assess general awareness of anti-biotic resistance and health care workers practices in relation to AMR

Characteristics of the provider Characteristics of the provider The successful bidder shall be either a for profit or not for profit institution operating in the field of public health, with proven expertise and experience in designing, conducting assessment/research/study/survey and data analysis, as well as formulating recommendation for health policy and program. An accreditation (institution) or an on-going accreditation process by a certified accreditation body will be an asset Previous work with WHO, other international organizations and/or major institutions in the field of public health in designing and implementing assessment/research/study/survey is essential and experience in Tuberculosis area of work will be an asset.

  6. Key requirements The expected outputs of this survey are as the following: Prior to implementation of the survey: Finalized Survey Protocol & Study Instrument (Questionnaire) Upon completion: 1. Final report of the project (including results and policy recommendations) 2. Complete final project dataset (all collected and analyzed data) 3. Activity and financial report 4. Presentation for dissemination

  7. Timelines 1 October 2022- 31 October 2023 (1 year)

  8. Reporting requirements 1. The project manager of the selected contractor will be expected to provide an updated status in a written format on a weekly basis. 2. Formal reporting (by VC and in the format of a technical report) is expected upon delivery of each deliverable (see above). 3. Additional reporting activities may be requested by WHO, or initiated by the project manager on a need basis. final report in format word, pdf and in design should be submitted by 31 October 2023

  9. Performance monitoring Following two aspects of works will be used for performance monitoring: 1.Timeliness compliance with the timeframe indicated in the contract. 2.Quality as assessed by the PIC in WHO and NTP.
