TV STUDIO A medium sized studio measures: oLength: 55 feet oWidth: 44 feet oHeight: 40 feet
oAcoustic sheets prevent sound reflection / echo o made up of 4 inch thick glass wool pads
o A rubber like perforated sheet o Covers / irregular wall surface o Gives plain/ uniform background o Wall seems invisible
Chroma key A technique by which a picture / film is projected on the screen behind a presenter.
contd o Technique forcompositing two images or frames together. oAlso referred to as green screen, and blue screen. o Commonly used forweather forecast broadcasts, wherein the presenter appears to be standing in front of a large map, but in the studio it is actually a large blue or green background
Floor & Ceiling PVC flooring: o to minimize echoing o to avoid shock o for smooth movement of camera tripod stands Ceiling : o Criss- cross iron frame o Space between filled with black iron sheets.
