FIFRA Compliance Monitoring Strategy (CMS) Provides a multi-year framework and national guidance for the FIFRA compliance assurance program to achieve the goals of FIFRA compliance monitoring and enforcement. Is currently being updated and reviewed by the Office of Compliance and Office of Civil Enforcement. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency

  3. FIFRA Cooperative Agreement Guidance (CAG) for FY26-29 Grantee comment period has closed. The EPA workgroup is reviewing the comments and will be developing a new draft. Tribal Consultation is being conducted. Final FY26-29 FIFRA CAG is expected February 2025. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency

OECA National Program Guidance (NPG) Final copy of FY2025-2026 OECA NPG is posted here (see pages 44-45): https://www.epa.gov/planandbudget/national- program-guidances-npgs#fy2526 OECA NPG focus areas include ecommerce, product integrity, imports, and the Worker Protection Standard. FIFRA STAG Cooperative Agreements remain a priority. NPG suggests regions Consider targeting oversight activities where grantees have monitored WPS compliance. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency

National Environmental Justice Advisory Council (NEJAC) NEJAC Farmworkers and Pesticide Workgroup issued recommendations in May 2024: https://www.epa.gov/system/files/documents/2024-07/nejac- farmworkers-and-pesticides-workgroup-letter-of- recommendation.pdf OECA is responsible for recommendations associated with Charge Question 4: Expand or Enhance Training for Inspectors Who Conduct Worker Protection Standard Inspections . An EPA workgroup has begun reviewing the recommendations to determine the feasibility of implementation. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency

  6. Pesticide Inspector Residential Training (PIRT) Cooperative agreement was awarded to the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) Foundation. Cary Giguere and Amy Sullivan will be administrators. Four to five PIRT courses a year are planned; with a Tribal PIRT every other year. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency

  7. ESA Compliance Workshop Organized by EPA s OECA and SFIREG, in coordination with PIRT. This workshop will be an initial step towards forming a consistent and robust approach for monitoring compliance with pesticide use requirements related to EPA s ESA Strategies.
