UE Multi-Cell Scheduling by DCI Format 1_3: Assumptions and Cell Configuration
Explore the detailed assumptions and cell configuration guidelines for User Equipment supporting multi-cell scheduling by DCI format 1_3. Understand the scenarios when the scheduling cell is in the set, is the reference cell, or neither, and the corresponding permissible actions. Learn about legacy DCI, PDSCH setup, and BD/CCE budget allowances based on support for FG6-10.

Assumption for FG 49-1 Allow a UE to indicate one or multiple from the following: {the scheduling cell is in the set and is the reference cell, the scheduling cell is NOT in the set, the scheduling cell is in the set but is NOT the reference cell} The UE supporting 49-1 shall support at least the cases the scheduling cell is in the set and is the reference cell If the UE does not support FG6-10 for some bands in the BC where the UE supports multi-cell scheduling by DCI format 1_3 according to 49-1; If the scheduling cell is in the set and is the reference cell; Up to one unicast SC-DCI (for self) or one DCI 1_3 that schedules at least on the scheduling cell per slot of scheduling cell, or; Up to one unicast SC-DCI (for self) and one DCI format 1_3 that schedules other than the scheduling cell per slot of scheduling cell If the scheduling cell is NOT in the set; Up to one DCI 1_3 per slot of scheduling cell Note: PDCCH monitoring for the scheduling cell is not part of this multi-cell scheduling by the DCI format 1_3 for the set of cells If the scheduling cell is in the set but is NOT the reference cell; Up to one DCI 1_3 per slot of scheduling cell If the UE supports FG6-10 for all bands in the BC where the UE supports multi-cell scheduling by DCI format 1_3 according to 49-1; For a given scheduled cell in the set, up to one unicast SC-DCI or one DCI 1_3 per slot of scheduling cell Allow UE to indicate that scheduled cell by legacy DCI is {reference cell only, any cell} 1
