Course Registration Schedule of Events Class of 2026 Counselors distribute Course Registration Worksheet to students - February 6th Registration with counselors - February 14th during 3rd period Registration form due with parent signature - February 23rd Class of 2027 Counselors distribute Course Registration Worksheet to students - February 20th and 21st in Freshman Orientation Registration with counselors - March 3rd and March 4th during Freshman Orientation Registration form due with parent signature - March 11th

Course Registration Course Catalog - Graduation Requirements Padua Requires 25 credits for Graduation 4 credits English credit of PE or PE Waiver 4 credits Theology credit Health 4 credits Mathematics World Language (single) 3 credits Lab Science (includes Biology and Chemistry) Orientation 3 credits of Social Studies (World History, US History, Gov) credit of Financial Literacy Computer Science 2 credits of credit of Freshman 1 credit of Fine Arts credit 1 credit Electives
Course Registration Course Catalog - Policies and Procedures All Padua students are required to take a minimum of 6 classes per semester. Students may not have more than 1 periods of study hall. Schedule Changes - please review Course Catalog carefully! MedTrack and MyTrack - please review curriculum sequence (pgs. 6-12 of the Course Catalog)
College Credit Programs College Credit Plus (CCP) and Advanced Placement (AP)
College Credit Programs Advanced Placement (AP) Advanced Placement (AP) courses are offered through The CollegeBoard and are a standard curriculum nationwide. AP Courses offered at Padua APHN Comp Sci A APHN Comp Sci Prin APHN Eng 12 Eng LitComp APHN 2-D Art & Design APHN Music Theory APHN AB Calc APHN BC Calc APHN Precalculus APHN Statistics APHN Biology APHN Chemistry APHN Phys C Mech El-Mag APHN US Gov Politics APHN US HIST APHN Spanish An application is required for all AP courses. Students are strongly encouraged to take the AP Exam for each course that they are enrolled in.
College Credit Programs College Credit Plus (CCP) CCP Information Night - Thursday, February 1st from 6-7 pm In-person and online options. Courses must be chosen in keeping with Padua s graduation requirements. Remedial and theology courses are not permitted. Student athletes - be cautious of enrollment requirements for eligibility Students are responsible for scheduling courses with CCP advisors.
Grading and Transcripts Grading Scale Honors & Advanced Placement A 5.0 B 4.0 C 3.0 D 1.0 Grading Scale A+ 98-100 A 95-97 A- 93-94 B+ 90-92 B 87-89 B- 85-86 C+ 82-84 C 79-81 C- 77-78 D+ 75-76 D 72-74 D- 70-71 F 0-69 Regular & Differentiated A 4.0 B 3.0 C 2.0 D 1.0 Grade point average and class rank are figured cumulatively by semester. All subjects are used in determining class rank. Class rank is shown on official transcripts, based on weighted G.P.A. Classes taken in other schools are not used in class rank or G.P.A. calculation.
Grading and Transcripts Semester Grades Semester Grade Calculation 40 % of Quarter 1 40% of Quarter 2 20% of Midterm Transcripts are updated 2 times per year End of Semester 1 (late January) End of Semester 2 Cumulative GPA is updated at the end of each semester. Quarter GPA is updated at the end of each quarter.
Grading and Transcripts Transcripts Transcripts are the official academic record for a student that is sent to colleges/universities, jobs, trade programs, scholarship committees, etc. All high school academic credit will be listed on transcripts. CCP courses will be listed on transcripts and are factored into Padua GPA. Courses taken at other high schools are not factored into Padua GPA.
Grading and Transcripts Building a Strong Transcript GPA calculation starts at Day 1! Colleges review transcripts for the following factors: GPA Class Rank Strength of Schedule Choose a schedule that challenges your student at their ability level. Academic rigor - honors, AP and CCP. Maximizing Padua s curriculum - emphasis on core courses.
