  1. Behaviour and Adjustment Problems Many a times parents and teachers may find children behaving in an inappropriate way and creating scene in presence of others. Such behaviour goes much against the norms in the society. If the behaviour of childrenarises due to a situation and the behaviour is repeated again and again, then it can be considered as behaviour and adjustment problem. For example, anger, aggression, truancy, etc.

  2. Anger: Anger is a basic emotion and universally present in all. It is the reaction for the instinct of combat. Anger instigates a person to act and react and feel a state of restlessness. When a person expresses anger, it means he is opposed to someone or something when he feels deliberately wrong. But sometimes anger could be put to good use when it motivates a person to do away with negative feelings and find solution to problems.

  3. In other words, a person expressing anger verbally or non-verbally, with or without actions faces rejections and criticisms from the society. And finally, if found guilty, he is punished. So, steps should be taken to find out and know the causes of anger from childhood onwards. Accordingly, learn how to control it and master himself in self-discipline. a child would

Causes of Anger: Given below are some of the causes of anger: a) Dissatisfaction of a child s physical needs. b) Deprivation of love, respect, attention and affection from friends, etc. c) Intervention of parents or any other person when the child is playing. d) Forcefully making something. parents, teachers, the child to do

  5. Steps of Prevention and Correction of Anger: a) To guide the emotion of anger in such a way so that they can be constructive activities. b) To restrain children environment that stimulates their anger. c) To avoid using rough and rude words or statements that hurts their sentiments and feelings. d) To take Counsellor s help and advice when anger of the children is uncontrollable and destructive. sublimated towards from negative
