  2. Learning Objective I can Explain that sometimes children can use abusive behaviours in their homes. Identify some of the ways behaviour can become abusive to friends and family. Explain what to do if they are worried about their own behaviour or someone they know. We are learning about when behaviour from children to parents can become abusive and what is normal family conflict

  3. What is Child to Parent Violence and Abuse? (CAPVA) A child or teenager harming or hurting a parent or carer. If it is happening more than just once and people in the family seem to be anxious or scared it might be CAPVA.

  5. Discussion How do you think the characters feel? What could help this family?

  6. Where can you go for help? Who is in your circle of trust? Identify one trusted adult you would feel comfortable talking to.

  8. Help and support I m worried about my own behaviour or someone else I know who can help?

  9. Help and support Everyone loses their temper sometimes but if you think it is happening a lot at home, with your friends or with a partner you can get support. If you are worried about someone else getting hurt or think someone is harming you there is support available.
