The civil registry defined by the United Nations as follows: Continuous registration, permanent and compulsory, and universal occurrence and characteristics of events vital (live births and deaths, fetal deaths, marriages and divorces) and events and other civil cases related to population as stipulated by decree or law or regulation, and in accordance with legal requirements in each country The system creates a permanent record of each event and has two main uses: First, records of legal documents required by the citizens as a sign of personal events. Second, the data derived from these records form the basis for the vital statistical system of the country.
