Death Do you know anyone who has died? How did you feel when they died? Why? What is Death? Death occurs at the end of this earthly life, when the body and the soul are separated. The body will die and decay The body is a temple of the Holy Spirit and must be cared for.
Particular judgment What happens after we die? Luke 12:2 There is nothing concealed that will not be revealed, nor secret that will not be known. Ponder that for a minute or two. If all of our actions will be made known; how will that change the way we live? Particular Judgment Our personal meeting with Jesus after our death when He will judge us. We determine (choose) our eternal state by our thoughts, words, deeds, and omissions!
Heaven What is Heaven? Heaven A place of eternal happiness united with God, where there is love of God, neighbor, and self Who goes to Heaven? Those who die in a state of grace Do you know anyone who is in Heaven? All the saints are in Heaven, but you don t have to be a canonized saint to be in Heaven What do you think Heaven will be like? 1 Cor 2:9 What eye has not seen, and ear has not heard, and what has not entered the human heart, what God has prepared for those who love Him.
Purgatory Purgatory= a temporary separation from heaven, where a person s love for God is purified and where God s life in a person is made strong enough for heaven. A state of purification Greatest suffering is holy longing
Purgatory Imagine that you had the opportunity to meet the Holy Father, Pope Francis Would you play soccer on a muddy field and then go meet him and shake his hand? Or would you take a shower and get cleaned up before you go to meet him?
Hell Hell A place of eternal separation from God, where there is no love of God, no love of neighbor, and no love of self eternal suffering and sadness!

Resurrection of the Body At the end of time, our bodies will be made glorious and be resurrected and reunited with our souls to share in their eternal reward. We trust there is life after death because Jesus Rose from the dead
Resurrection of the Body Empty Tomb: John 19:30 - 20:18 Upper Room: John 20:19-31 Road to Emmaus: Luke 24:13-48 What are some qualities that Jesus resurrected body had? What do you think our resurrected body will be like?

Add the Scripture Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the road broad that leads to destruction and those who enter through it are many. How narrow the gate and contracted the road that leads to life. And those who find it are few. Matthew 7:13-14 Add actions that put us on the path to Heaven on the narrow path Add actions that put us on the path to destruction on the wide road
