Nowadays, an increasing number of people say they can't feel the asmosphere of the Spring Festival which they enjoyed very much in their childhood. What's the reason? Give some examples.
The reason why we lose the atmosphere of the Spring Festival is that 1. we pay little attention to the origins of the Spring Festival and traditional culture, such as paper-cuts and Spring Festival couplets. In addition, we prefer to celebrate it in modern ways, like watching the Spring Festival Gala, travelling and so on. 2. we live a better-off life than before with a variety of entertainments, such as watching films, travelling and going to concerts. Therefore, some traditional customs have been forgotten. .
Homework A letter of suggestion to classmates More and more poeple prefer to celebrate western festivals rather than Chinese traditional festivals. What should we do to prevent our traditional festivals and customs from being forgetten?
Dear classmates, Nowadays, more and more people prefer to celebrate western festivals rather than Chinese traditional festivals. I think we should take action to prevent our traditional festivals and customs from being forgotten. Firstly, it is necessary to spread knowledge about our traditional festivals, such as the origin of the Spring Festival, the story of Chang'e, and the history of Qu Yuan. What's more, we are supposed to gather our family and friends to celebrate festivals in traditional ways, not just enjoying a feast but taking part in the preparation and celebration. For example, we can make Jiaozi together before the Spring Festival, or make Zongzi for the Dragon Boat Festival. By doing what is mentioned above, I believe we can keep our traditional customs in mind.
