  2. Mans will foundation of knowing source of Jesus teaching! Jesus did. . . If any man willeth to do His will, he shall know of the teaching, whether it is of God, or whether I speak from myself. . . (Jn. 7:17)

  3. Essential Goal: Our will in line with Gods Will Self glory glory of man VS. God s glory (Jn. 7:18) If self glory you will hate Jesus ! (Jn. 7:7) If self glory you might not follow through with following Jesus! (Matt. 16:24-25, Heb. 10:26-31) If self glory you will pervert revealed law! glorying in circumcision (Jn. 7:20-23, Gal. 5:12- 13) If self glory you will be focused upon appearance instead of what is right! (Jn. 7:24, Col. 2:20-23)

  4. Essential Goal: Obey Gods Will Must move from good intentions to actually obeying! (Matt. 21:28-32) Must move from talk to doing! (Matt. 7:21) Jesus family: those who do the will of my Father who is in heaven! (Matt. 12:50) Man s will is powerful: Foundation for knowing: true source of Jesus teaching is God! Turn from being obstinate to obeying God! Turn from life of sin to life of serving God!
