  5. Political science is the study of politics, government, and public policy, both in the United States and across the world.

  6. There are 3 Concepts of Political Science Power. State. Nation. 6

  7. Power Political scientists usually describe power as the ability to influence others' actions with or without resistance. Politics are nothing more than the pursuit and exercise of power, and political relationships are primarily based on power relations. 7

  8. The study of international relations shows that the most important tool for achieving national goals has been power, that is why every country tries to gain, hold, and exercise power. The position of a state in the comity of nations dose not determinate by its civilization or culture or literary contribution but by its power. Every state holds power however in different levels and sorts. As a result, power cannot be ignored while researching international relations. 8

  9. State Is political organization of society, the body politic, or the institutions of government. Which is a form of human association different from other social groups by its purpose, the establishment of order and security; its methods, the laws ; its territory, the area of geographic boundaries; and finally by its sovereignty. 9

  11. Unitary states concentrate power at the central, or national level. Such as The United Kingdom, France, China, and Japan. Federal states create different divisions and levels of the government and divide power among those divisions and levels. For examples The United States is a federal state, divide power to offices at three levels: 1. National or federal offices. 2. State offices. 3. Local offices. Confederal state with power decentralized and held primarily or exclusively by local offices. These type of state used to be work in the United States prior to the ratification of the U.S. Constitution. 11

  12. Nation A nation is a community of people with a sense of unity based on the importance the group attributes to a shared trait, attribute, or custom. A common language, religion, ethnicity, race, and culture are often the foundations national identity. of 12

  13. Different between nation and stats Among the basic elements of a nation are common customs and traditions and a single language, such as the Arab nation. State may differ in religion, customs, traditions and languages within the same country. 13

  14. Conclution Political since depend on these three element power, state, nation. Without power there is no controlled, without state nation can not create. Nation is a large group of people have linked by similar cutler, language, and history. State is a political unit that has sovereignty over a particular piece of land. 14
