Present simple Present simple a. Ahmed prepared the food. b. The food was prepared by Ahmed Form of the passive verb : To be ( in the same tense as the verb of the active voice ) + past participle of the verb.

Modals Form of the passive : To be ( in the same tense as the verb of the active voice ) + past participle of the verb. Modals : should / can / must / will /need/ have to / Modal + be + past participle of the verb.
