The manner in which we organize what we know and the patters of thought we display are referred to as schemata. 1. Physical constructs used to classify people according to physical characteristics 2. Interaction constructs social behavioral cues: friendly arrogant, trust worthy 3. Role constructs social position professor, student administrator 4. 4. Psychological constructs: classify people according to such things as generosity, insecurity, shyness, humor Schemata of Perception
