When Jesus Prayed... He kept it personal Psalm 63:1 O God, you are my God! I long for you! My soul thirsts for you, my flesh yearns for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water.
When Jesus Prayed... He made it His highest priority Mark 1:35 In the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, and went away to a secluded place, and was praying there.
When Jesus Prayed... He gave His Father undivided attention Eugene Peterson I can be active and pray; I can work and pray; but I cannot be busy and pray. I cannot be inwardly rushed, distracted, or dispersed . Usually, for [prayer] to happen there must be a deliberate withdrawal from the noise of the day, a disciplined detachment from the insatiable self.
