  1. SOCIAL MEDIA AND ME

  2. H OW H AV E S O C I A L M E D I A P L AT F O R M S C H A N G E D T H E WAY W E C O N S U M E A N D U N D E R S TA N D I N F O R M AT I O N ? Social media platforms changed the way we take in information because they have the power to modify the aspects of the story to make them untrue. They could alter the story and people would have no idea who is telling the truth or not, as everyone normally trusts what they see on social media. The truth is that most of the things that people see online are either untrue or altered in some way. Social media can lead to decreased, disrupted, and delayed sleep, which is associated with depression, memory loss, and poor academic performance.

  3. WHEN YOU SEE OR READ NEWS ON SOCIAL MEDIA, DO YOU TAKE TIME TO RESEARCH THE STORY FURTHER? Not usually; that s what makes this such a compelling idea. People see things such as this website and choose to believe whatever is on it rather than researching for a more reliable website. This leads back to the idea that you should never trust what you see online.

  4. WHAT VALUE DO YOU GET FROM ONLINE SOCIAL INTERACTIONS? From interacting online with friends and maybe even strangers, you could gain a confidence boost by people interacting with your posts. Otherwise, people might make negative comments on your posts completely shattering your confidence. Depending on who you connect with, things could have a positive outlook or a completely negative outlook.

  5. DESCRIBE THE ROLE OF SOCIAL MEDIA AND SOCIAL CURRENCY SHAPING YOUTH CULTURE? Most people tend to follow and go for newer things and trends. It s a natural human reaction to want to go for what s trendy or what s popular on social media. Therefore, this can shape everyone s life and how they decide to do things, shaping the youth culture as we know it.

  6. WHEN YOU POST ONLINE, DO YOU CONSIDER HOW THE POST MAY BE SEEN BY OTHER? EXPLAIN. Yes; it s difficult to not consider how other people will think about what you post online. Different people have different reactions to things and it s hard to not think about people judging you. Of course, a way to stop this is by limiting who follows your accounts.

  7. DO YOU SEE ANY SIMILARITIES BETWEEN THE WORLD PRESENTED IN THIS VIDEO AMD THE WORLD YOU LIVE IN? This world seems simply like a more exaggerated version of our world. People do indeed live like this, convinced that their social media presence is more important than the rest of the aspects in your life. People do try to make things look better than they actually are online, which leads to people believing in altered things.

  8. HOW DOES THE MAIN CHARACTER GAIN AND LOSE POINTS? WHY ARE THESE POINTS IMPORTANT TO HER? Whether she gains or loses points depends on how her followers react to her content. Whenever someone sees something, they like in her social media, they can upvote and she gains more points due to this. Alas, she can lose points if her followers don t like the content she is uploading. These points are important to her because their world is based off of who has the most points. People with plenty of points are the most successful.

  9. WHAT VALUES MIGHT BE DERIVED FROM THIS TYPE OF SOCIAL INTERACTION? This leads to believe that social media presence is the only thing that matters. You shouldn t do anything that won t end up in your followers liking your content, or just people even in real life. If you do so, you risk losing points, which is possibly the worst thing that could happen to someone in these conditions.

  10. HOW WOULD YOUR SOCIAL INTERACTIONS CHANGE IF YOU WERE A CHARCTER IN THESE VIDEOS? I would probably become more aware of the way I treat the people around me rather than saying exactly what I want to say. Due to this, I would put up a facade rather than being myself. In this society, losing points can lead to someone s downfall.

  11. HOW DID YOU TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FACTS AND INTERPRETATIONS, OPINIONS, AND JUDGEMENTS? I could tell the difference between these things because by paying attention to the way things are worded. The difference between these things is that some of them are taken in a lighter way, as some taken more roughly and briskly

  12. HOW DID YOU ANALYZE EVIDENCE FROM DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES? You can analyze things from other perspectives by using context to take hints and find more intel. Using critical thinking to make caring interpretations, you can find out a lot of information from just observing the surroundings of things.
