THE IMPORTANCE OF PRAISE
MEMORY VERSE: Praise ye the LORD, Praise the LORD, O my soul, (Psalm 146:1). TEXT: Psalms 145:1-21; 146:1- 10; 147:1-20; 148:1-14; 149:1-6; 150:1-6
INTRODUCTION Praise is telling God thank you either in prayer, singing, or in action. God is the creator of heaven and the earth, the fish in the water, the animals in the forest, the living and non-living things around us. The ones we can see and those we cannot see with our eyes; they are all created by God Almighty

He wants us to praise God because praises move the hands of God to bless us more. It makes our prayer move faster to the throne of God. Other benefits protection, provision, supply of every needs and more. WHY IS THE PSALMIST CALLING US TO PRAISE GOD? are success,
THE VARIOUS WAYS TO PRAISE GOD INCLUDE: a. Living a holy life. b. Singing praises. c. Paying tithes and offering. d. Reading and listening to the word of God. e. Prayers
YOU ARE TO JOIN OTHERS TO PRAISE GOD a) It is not good for you to close your mouth and not clap your hand during times of praise and worship:. b) Neither should you spend your money meant for offering to buy biscuit, sweet or keeping it for other purposes. c) Friends of Jesus, God wants you to praise Him, but for sinful children, you must: i. Know that you are a sinner ii. Ask for forgiveness iii. Confess and repent from your sins iv. Ask God to wash your heart clean with the blood of Jesus v. Believe He has forgiven you. Then your praise can be accepted by God. Praise the Lord.
