What do we do? Investigate complaints from people unfairly treated by a provider of a public service Independent of Government Impartial Free to use
The Ombudsman can investigate your complaint if: You are unhappy with a public body s response to your complaint/appeal You contact us within 12 months (Discretion)
2024: Over 4,700 complaints received 127 from people living in Mayo (2.6% of all complaints) 2024 Complaints from Mayo : Mayo County Council 35 Dept. of Social Protection 15 Dept. of Agriculture Food and the Marine 8 IPAS (International Protection Accommodation Service) 6 HSE 5
