  1. The Way to Life Lesson 2 Understand the basis and source of all reality: introducing God, the universe, and humankind

  2. Questions Think about how the world of nature is constructed. The sun, rain, chemical processes, and all nature are organized in a way that provides food, air, proper temperature, and all you need to live. Why is all that organized exactly right for us? List some of the beauties of the natural world that you enjoy. Add to the examples below whatever gives you delight. the glowing sunset colors /nighttime view of sparkling stars / vast spaces of the universe the delicate color of a flower waving in a warm summer breeze the melody of beautiful music the delight of delicious food the smile and laughter of a little child Why is the world made as it is, so it has beauty and pleasure? Where does beauty come from? Why do human beings have the ability to recognize beauty and enjoy it? Why are the beauty of nature and the joys of life spoiled by pollution, wars, fighting within families, and finally death?

  3. I am a bee. Hey, I see many flowers, different in color, what shall I do? 1. Wonder for a while: who is the owner, who made them, why are they so beautiful, what is their purpose? 2. Fly into them and eat all their honey.

  4. I am a man and I am hungry. Hey, I see a fruit and two animals. They are all beautiful. I think they are made to consume. But who made them? So, who is the owner? Let me think . . . . Let me start eating the fruit. I like west fruit. Then I will roast the duck, I like kao ya! I want to be careful. Before I consume that tall animal, I will read a famous book about those creatures.

  5. Questions 1. What thoughts, questions and feelings do you get from this report of the creation of the universe? 2. What do you think about the process of creation? What reasons do you see for the sequence in which each part was made over the six periods of time? 3. Did anything exist before the material universe existed? If so, what existed then? See Genesis 1:1.

  6. Opposite pairs of descriptions of the creation are listed below. Which phrase in each pair better describes what you see in chapters 1 and 2 of Genesis. or Degenerative loss of organization, and less distinction between parts Increasing order and complexity or Static state (conditions), change or that returns to the starting point, producing nothing new Progressive development toward a goal or plan or Random, accidental occurrences without purpose or direction Intelligent design or Independent universe (exists and runs by itself alone) Dependent universe or No authority or basis for authority Levels of authority in the world (right and power to act and govern)
