  9. Good practices and lessons from MCP6 into MCP7 Favorable environment in the Pacific for advancing SRH, addressing GBV, adolescent pregnancies and unmet need for family planning. Strengthened national commitment to ICPD (ICPD+25 Nairobi Summit, 2019), as UNFPA s mandated areas are aligned with the national development priorities of PICTs Strong partnerships with CROP & CSOs contributed to effective delivery of CP6 & to be reinforced in CP7 UNFPA MCP6 significant success in Other Resources mobilization - $44 mil against $22m target the highest level of donor investments in SRH & RR in the Pacific the last 10 years Significant gains, yet varied averages call for nationally/locally-tailored approach The return on investments in SRH and GBV prevention, has become evident 1. If an additional $13.4 million is invested in Kiribati, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga and Vanuatu in the last decade till 2030, then the FP and MH targets could be achieved. 2. The above investment could avert 38% more unintended pregnancies, 28% more stillbirths, and 29% more maternal deaths, compared to status quo. 3. The additional investment could also bring 11-fold economic benefit of $149.7 million. UNFPA 9
