Choose a slide and copy it into your presentation for faculty, team, department, or other meetings. Share this set with teachers and encourage them to choose slides to copy into their lessons.   2. Valley Ridge Middle School Dad Joke Tournament Dad Joke Tournament 2 minutes to choose your favorite dad joke (clean, silly, and funny). You may use your device to search or choose one from the envelope on the table. Round 1: Stand up and find a partner. Take turns telling your jokes. Come to a consensus on your favorite of the two. Round 2: Partners move together! Join with another partnership. Each partnership tells the favorite joke they selected in Round 1. Come to a consensus on your favorite of the two. Round 3: Foursomes move together. Join with another foursome. Each foursome tells the favorite joke they selected in Round 2. Come to a consensus on your favorite of the two. Rounds 4-?: Repeat combining groups and selecting the favorite joke until only TWO or THREE teams are left for the FINAL ROUND. FINAL ROUND: Each team selects a JOKETELLER to tell the joke selected in the previous round by the team. The JOKETELLERS tell the joke to the entire audience. As a group, repeat HA HO HEE while making eye contact with others in the circle Try NOT to laugh! Last person with a straightface in the circle is the winner! Are you a teacher? Find a partner 5 minutes: Take turns asking each other questions. See who can go the longest WITHOUT saying YES or NO! Find a partner 1-2 minutes: Take turns sharing your answer while you both stand like a rightside-up or upside-down flamingo Rightside-up: standing on one leg with the other leg bent Upside-down: holding one arm straight up and one arm bent Be prepared to share out if chosen Collaboration Relationships Accountability Student-Centered Urgency
