University of Pritina in Kosovska Mitrovica Founded on 18 November 1969. Until 1999 the University consisted of 14 faculties and was located in Pristina. During the war in 1999, around 1,500 academic and non-academic staff together with 16,000 students (courses in Serbian) expatriated from the University. Status of the University State university founded by the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia. Accredited by the National Entity for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in HE in Serbia. Financed by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia. Full member of the European University Association, signatory of the Magna Charta Universitatum. International cooperation Various national and international and project. Cooperation with over 90 Universities. Successful in the Erasmus plus Capacity building and Credit Mobility projects. Seven Tempus, and 16 Erasmus+ KA2 projects, either as beneficiary or as a partner. Erasmus+ KA1 programme: over 50 projects awarded with Erasmus+ grant.
