Students who are always tired Students that are extremely withdrawn Extremely fearful or anxious-Hypervigilance Extreme fear of authority figures Students who have overly invested caretakers Does not answer/has scripted answers Many injuries in various states of healing Students who are frequently absent but still attending.

  10. Some Other Red Flags Sudden change in dress or hygiene habits Extravagant clothes or gifts Brands or tattoos Living where they work Very busy households Multiple phones Much older significant other Frequent trips or traveling

What are your hours like? Do you get days off?

  14. How can we prevent trafficking? Be a safe-space Establish programs that help meet basic needs Develop support networks and community partnerships Create a school and community that makes it clear trafficking isn t tolerated.
