Clinical Activity (April - December 2020) Inpatients: 334 individuals supported during 395 stays Remote activity: 750 individuals supported during 4528 clinical sessions www.mytonhospice.org @MytonHospices

Inpatients Both inpatient units open: 12 beds in Coventry 12 beds in Warwick Referral Reasons: Symptom Control physical and psychological needs Terminal Care days to weeks We no longer provide Respite stays www.mytonhospice.org @MytonHospices
Inpatient referrals (January 2021) Hospital referrals require a pre-admission COVID-19 test prior to transfer Community referrals do not require a pre-admission COVID-19 test we will do this during our clerking Patients with symptoms of COVID-19 or a positive test will only be offered a bed at Coventry Myton Hospice At the current time we are unable to accept patients requiring AGPs into either Inpatient Unit (IPU) www.mytonhospice.org @MytonHospices

Visiting on our Inpatient Units (From January 4th 2021) Pt nominates 2 visitors remain the same two people throughout pt s stay The 2 nominated visitors do not need to be from the same household but must follow strict guidance - PPE, handwashing and social distancing Lateral flow testing twice per week for the two nominated visitors If a nominated visitor becomes symptomatic or confirmed with COVID-19 they will NO longer be able to visit. (If both nominated visitors live in same household neither will be able to visit) On this occasion, replacement nominated visitor(s) can be agreed For patients who are rapidly deteriorating or in the last hours/days of life: Discretion will be used on an individual pt basis www.mytonhospice.org @MytonHospices

Patient and Carer Wellbeing Services Supporting adults to improve wellbeing and quality of life whatever stages of their Palliative Care diagnosis. During pandemic - supporting patients remotely by telephone and Teams. Support: Social engagement Virtual education sessions MDT support We will never discharge a patient from our services. Counselling Coventry, Warwick and Rugby Mon to Fri 9am-5pm 1:1 counselling via telephone/Teams/face-to- face Myton patients, families, friends, carers Adults and young people & children (5-18yrs) Unable to take external referrals at this time Rainbow Ripples/Bereavement groups on hold due to COVID-19 www.mytonhospice.org @MytonHospices
Patient Family Carer Support Service (PFCSS) Complementary Therapy Physiotherapy Occupational Therapy Counselling Pastoral Care Volunteers All therapies are used to enhance the care and support provided. No direct referrals possible to the PFCSS. www.mytonhospice.org @MytonHospices
